The Białystok Branch of the Polish Mathematical Society organizes the 8th Podlasie Conference on Mathematics (8PCM) on 5-8 December 2019 (Thursday-Sunday) in Białystok, Poland.

The Podlasie Conference on Mathematics is an international conference organised usually every other year in cooperation with Białystok University of Technology (Faculty of Computer Science) and the University of Białystok (Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics).  As before, there will be a plenary session and several special sessions during the conference. Participants are invited to deliver a contributed talk in one of the special sessions. Participation of younger researchers, in particular students, is encouraged.

1. Algebra (organized by Małgorzata Hryniewicka and Ryszard Mazurek)
2. Dynamical and Control Systems (organized by Zbigniew Bartosiewicz)
3. Mathematics in Data Science (organized by Agnieszka Oniśko-Drużdżel)
4. Fractional Differential Equations and its Applications (organized by Tatiana Odzijewicz)
5. Mathematics of Borderlands – popularization of mathematics session  (organized by Marzena Filipowicz-Chomko and Rajmund Stasiewicz)
